UNVEILING TOURIST BEHAVIOR

In this pioneering three-year study, Pro. Yu Ye and I developed an innovative tourist behavior evaluation method based on AlphAction-an image and video analysis module in the Beijing Forestry University campus. This methodology transforms the way tourist behaviors are analyzed, utilizing advanced computer vision model to extract detailed spatial and behavioral data from aerial footage. Applied to two sites on campus, this methodology not only accurately quantifies individual and group behaviors but also offers compariative insights across different sites, times and weather conditions. Our research demonstrates the significant potential of image-based analysis in understanding and enhancing site evaluation and utilization.
